A young homeless boy, Daniel, turns into a soldier and becomes a hero. He turns to his mentor and caregiver for strength and advice. Faces many challenges in the service and looses most of his close friends. Daniel comes home and the roles are reversed. He is now the caregiver to his mentor who is dying but even in a bad situation good things can happen
